Our Process

How We Handle a Plumbing Job

Angermeier plumbing service truck on a residential job
  1. 1. Real diagnosis, not a guess

We isolate the actual cause — a bad cartridge vs. a supply valve, a slab leak vs. a fixture — before quoting.

  2. 2. Upfront, fixed price

You approve the price before we start. No open-ended hourly meter.

  3. 3. Do it once, do it right

Code-compliant materials, clean copper solder joints, and proper shutoffs. If it's worth doing, it's worth doing to Master Plumber standard.

  4. 4. Clean workspace

Drop cloths, boot covers, and clean-up when we leave. Your house shouldn't look like we were there.

  5. 5. Warranty & follow-up

Every repair is backed. If something isn't right, we come back.

Doylestown, PA · Recent job

Galvanized Repipe in a Doylestown Borough Victorian

Brown water at the upstairs bath and pressure that dropped to nothing whenever a second fixture ran. The house had plumbing from at least three different eras stacked in the same walls.

What we found

  • Original galvanized steel supply, corroded nearly closed at the horizontal runs
  • Copper patched into galvanized with no dielectric — accelerated corrosion at every joint
  • Static pressure fine at the meter, collapsing under any real demand
  • A capped-off branch behind the plaster nobody had documented

What we did

  • Repiped the supply in copper and PEX, run through accessible chases to limit plaster damage
  • Replaced every original shutoff with quarter-turn valves at the fixtures
  • Removed the dead branch and properly abandoned it back at the trunk
  • Pressure-tested the system before closing anything up

Full pressure at every fixture with two running at once, clear water, and a supply system the next owner won't have to re-do.
